The March 1, 2024 edition of The Lumberjack, Northern Arizona University's student-run newspaper. Volume 118, The Language Issue. In this special edition of the paper, we wanted to explore the importance of language in connection to each other and our environment. In the upcoming pages, you will find a story on the recent shift in political rhetoric, a feature on interpersonal communication among women and a gallery showcasing photography as a language. Other content includes an opinion piece on video game dialogue, the international influence on NAU’s track team and LJ staffer’s favorite quotes.
